Ella Masser is the Graduate Advisor for Fraternity & Sorority Life and Dance Marathon.  Her primary advising responsibilities include Dance Marathon and the Panhellenic Council.

 

Ella is from Savage, Minnesota and graduated from Prior Lake Senior High School in 2019. She went on to the University of Kansas, where she graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology and a Bachelor of General Studies in Applied Behavioral Science in 2023.

 

During her time at KU, she realized her passion for sport psychology and spent a year working in the KU Sport and Exercise Psychology Lab (KUSEPL). She also had the unique opportunity to intern with Breakaway Academy to teach students various mental skills to improve their performance on and off the ice. Ella is continuing her education at Minnesota State University, Mankato by pursuing a Master of Science in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology.

 

Ella was an active member of the Delta Gamma sorority at the University of Kansas for all 4 years of her undergraduate studies. She held the position of director of dialogue, and director of parent’s club. Ella also had the unique opportunity to be a Panhellenic recruitment counselor her junior year. She enjoyed her years in Delta Gamma as an active member and is embracing the future as a Delta Gamma alumna.

 

Ella accepted a position with the Student Activities Office to utilize her experience as a member of the Panhellenic community at KU to benefit the team and the Fraternity & Sorority community at Mankato. She is looking forward to advising the team, welcoming new students to campus in the fall, and helping to plan the Dance Marathon.

 

When Ella is not studying or working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys going to her family cabin on Bay Lake where she relaxes and goes wake surfing with her brothers and friends. Ella also enjoys playing pond hockey with her family, watching the Chiefs, KU Basketball & Football, and the Minnesota Wild.
