Carly coordinates the Fitness and Wellness Programs in Campus Recreation. She oversees group exercise classes, personal training, fitness assessments, exercise plans, equipment orientations, scheduling fitness certifications and continuing education workshops on campus, aquatics programming for open and lap swim, and hires and trains students to work in these program areas.

  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
  • Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Group Exercise Instructor with National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA)
  • Certified Group Exercise Instructor with American Council on Exercise (ACE)
  • Competed a Fitness Nutrition Specialist Certification through ACE
  • Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT® 200), Registered Yoga Teacher 500 (RYT® 500),and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider® (YACEP®) all through the Yoga Alliance
  • American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid instructor

  • Lead yoga retreat in Bali, Indonesia

  • Experience teaching group exercise classes for 20+ years

OFF-CAMPUS EXPERIENCES

When Carly is not on campus working, you’ll find her at a baseball field watching her son play, with her daughter paddle boarding or hiking, at home reading a book, exploring the world with friends, chilling with her cats and partner, practicing yoga and meditation, and eating donuts.
