15 years & Still Serving

Thanks to a Host of Volunteers and supporters,
Partners for Affordable Housing
Is celebrating an Anniversary of Service
To the Less Fortunate

More than 15 years ago, the Welcome Inn Transitional Living center opened its doors to homeless individuals and families. Since then, thousands of people have stayed at the Welcome Inn. Now in addition to the Inn, there are a variety of programs: Welcome Homes, Liberty Homes & \Apartments, the Erna Stock Home, and more.
Thanks Greater Mankato! Your support has made a difference in the lives of many homeless and low income members in our community. On any typical to your help.

Most recently,
Partners staff, board members, and volunteers named an apartment building on Broad Street, the Sinclair Lewis House. Special thanks to Vetter Stone Company for donating the wonderful stone marker that highlights Lewis and the house(see picture). Sinclair Lewis lived rent free in the house while writing Main Street. Homeless or just temporarily in a blind, Lewis found a helping hand in Mankato and eventually became Americas first winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature,
