Born and raised in Mankato, Joan Johnson-Brown spent over 30 years living and teaching English in Illinois.  Today she's back home in Mankato.  In Septemeber of 2009, Joan sat down with Dave Engen to share her memories about Front Street, especially as it was during the 1940s and 1950s.  Highlights of the interview are found below.
