Our Purpose
The purpose of the Women of Action Committee (WAC) is to provide an atmosphere where women on campus can be comfortable in their own skin and can feel empowered through the work of the organization and through goals of the Women’s Center. WAC encourages women to become the best versions of themselves through promotion of health and wellness, sexual violence prevention education, women’s leadership, women’s history, and advocacy of women’s rights. WAC is an avid promoter of feminist ideals and works hard to ensure equal rights for all women.
