Is your organization, business or group interested in participating in the 3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair? If you are interested in participating in this years event, please e-mail Chera Sevcik at chera.sevcik@mnsu.edu for more information. Please do note: The Women's Center reserves the right to restrict or prohibit an exhibitor.

Love Your Body Day!

This years theme of the Health and Wellness Fair is "Love Your Body" as part of Love Your Body Day. Love Your Body Day is a day of action designated to speak out against ads and images of women that are offensive, harmful, dangerous and disrespectful and to raise awareness about issues of women's health, body image and self-esteem. Love Your Body Day was founded in 1998 by the National Organization for Women Foundation and is celebrated yearly.

Our hope is that all exhibitors can provide some sort of interactive health component to provoke participation from the participants. Examples of past interactive demonstrations include chair massages, skin health demonstrations, body fat analysis, blood pressure and fitness screenings, self-esteem and body images demonstrations, trivia games.... the possibilities are endless!

Location

The Health and Wellness Fair will be located in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom on the second floor of the Centennial Student Union.

The event table will be staffed for the duration of the health and wellness fair.

Unloading Materials

We will have volunteers available to assist with unloading and loading of materials outside the CSU.

Event Staff

All event staff will be wearing "Event Staff" buttons and Health Fair t-shirts. Please let us know how we can be helpful for your organization while exhibiting at MSU.

Door Prizes

All donated door prizes will be displayed on the door prize table for health fair participants to view. In order to win a door prize, participants need to visit each table at the health fair and obtain a stamp from your table (stampers will be provided). This helps to ensure each organization receives equal participation and visits by health fair participants.

Interactive Demonstrations

The area at the front of the ballroom is reserved for interactive demonstrations and classes going on throughout the health fair. These include yoga and fitness sessions as well as dances by numerous student organizations. Please feel free to join in on the Love Your Body Day festivities.
