Take Back the Night 2005 is coming on Wednesday, April 20th. From 6-8pm, we're assembling on the MSU Mall to re-dedicate ourselves to ending sexual violence. Take Back the Night is a public declaration that we all have the right to live without fear of rape or shame by day or by night. This is more than a moonlit stroll-it's your chance to express real support for your friends, family, and community. As always, we will have a "speak out" time for everyone. Come stand for the day when we are all safe in our minds, in our bodies, in our homes, and in our world. "Take back your life," at this year's Take Back the Night celebration and vigil.
If you wish to express yourself through poetry, movement, song, etc, please contact us in advance for preparations. If you need more information or wish to participate, please contact Anika Cristwell at 507.389.2486 or anika.cristwell@mnsu.edu.
