Marketing and Publicity Intern Position Opening in the Women's Center for 2005-2006
Application deadline is Friday, June 3, 2005.
The Women's Center seeks a self-directed undergraduate student to manage program-related publicity and general departmental marketing. This position will offer the student a chance to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in a number of areas including collaboration, written and verbal communication, feminist work and leadership styles, independent research, and computer skills.

The first article by Hannah Miyamoto, graduate student in Women's Studies, in a major academic journal has just appeared. The article is an essay reviewing five books, and has been published by the National Women's Studies Association Journal. Hannah reviewed these books:
