President Davenport, the MSSA, and the Reporter Editor are hosting an annual student open forum. The date is October 13 from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. It will be held outside in the Mall area (weather permitting-alternate location is the Hearth Room in the CSU). Discussion items include landlord/tenant issues and tuition. Please attend and raise any issues that are important to you. MSU leadership wants to hear your voice.

6-9 pm at the Centennial Student Union on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato
Both are open, free of charge, and include a set of training materials and refreshments.
Co-sponsors include Committee Against Domestic Violence, Inc. (CADA) with fund from the Office of Justice Programs, and MSU, Mankato College of Business, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Department of Women's Studies, Department of Social Work, the Women's Center, and the Kessel Peace Institute. Members of the Minnesota State University, Mankato community and Mankato area are invited to attend.
Pre-registration needed for planning purposes. To register send email with your name, phone, email address, department affiliation, and time you plan to attend to Annelies Hagemeister.
There will be a National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) MSU, Mankato College Chapter meeting.

Where: Intercultural Student Center (CSU 269)
It will be held to discuss membership and elections of the executive board. If you are of know anyone interested in serving on the executive board or being in the organization, please tell them to be at the meeting.
