The Minnesota State Mankato Chapter of the Golden Key Honor Society is helping Committee Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) with the CALL to PROTECT cell phone drive Feb. 14 - Mar. 10. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to drop off their used cellular phones (phones do not have to work) at any of the following locations:
This effort is part of the national CALL TO PROTECT campaign, which allows individuals to retire their cellular phones in a way that is environmentally friendly. It also provides phones, with matching airtime, to domestic violence agencies. The CALL TO PROTECT campaign is part of The Wireless Foundation.
