Focus Group needed

Sarah Groh is conducting research on female sexuality for her Feminist Research and Action class. She needs female volunteers, between the ages of 20 to 25, to participate in focus groups where they will openly discuss ideas about sexuality. You do not need to be sexually active to participate and all information will be confidential. The focus groups will be held on April 15th and April 17th.

Minnesota Vote, Run, Lead presents 'Go Run Political Leadership Training'
May 19-21, 2006 in Chaska, MN

Go Run is a weekend long training designed to demystify the political process by teaching women the basic skills involved in running a campaign and being a candidate. The training provides the nuts and bolts of running for political office by focusing on the core areas of Communications, Fundraising, and Campaigning and the unique barriers that women face. Go Run!

Internship Opportunity – Event Planning

The South Central Minnesota Pride Committee is looking for a dynamic, motivated intern to plan and carry out the first annual Pride Parade. This event will be held the weekend of September 15-17. The work for this internship will be carried out over the summer of 2006. The ideal intern

  • has experience in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied communities
  • possesses organizing skills
  • is an excellent communicator
  • is motivated to serve the LGBTA community
  • has a strong work ethic

Intern will report to a designated Pride Committee member. Hours are flexible. Intern must be available to help manage the event during Pridefest weekend.
