The Smitten Kitten will be hosting a fundraiser to help support our violence prevention efforts. This fundraiser is in conjunction with our 2007 production of "The Vagina Monologues." The Smitten Kitten is a gender-friendly erotic boutique & sex toy store owned and operated by 2 MSU grads. The store will donate 20% of all in-store and online sales made that day to our V-Day Violence Prevention Campaign.
You are invited to take a shopping trip to Minneapolis not only to buy some self-indulgent products in a feminist environment, but also to support a great cause. If you would like to go, but do not have transportation or would much rather travel with someone the Women's Center is sponsoring a van ride.
Transportation: Meet at eleven for a ride*, transport yourself according to your own schedule or shop online in the comfort of your own home.
*To guarantee a spot in the van for this shopping trip, please contact Deirdre at rosenfeld@mnsu.edu
Destination: 3010 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis or the look at the Smitten Kitten website.
For more information about V-Day, please contact Katie katherine.bowman@mnsu.edu or 507-389-6146.
