Sexual Assault Awareness Month is nationally recognized in the month of April. The Take Back the Night Planning Committee is currently organizing our annual April events. We are in search of survivors of sexual violence to share their experiences. Identities will remain confidential upon request. All survivors will be respected and honored throughout this process. Empower yourself and others! The Women's Center will be holding a bi-weekly discussion group on women's issues, and we are looking for undergraduate women who would like to be involved. It will be an opportunity to learn and to support other women in a search of self-discovery and growth. Topics will include sexual violence, dating violence, stress, self-care, relationships, and other issues. Please join us Thursday, March 22, 2007, to celebrate women's history month and the newest version of Coming of Age in the Twentieth Century, a website featuring interviews with women talking about their growing up experiences and more. Produced by students in Women's Studies 251, Coming of Age: Gender & Culture, the Minnesota Girls website has added many new faces and stories this year. We will host a reception on March 22 from 4-5:30 in Armstrong Hall 309, sponsored by the Department of Women's Studies, the Women's Center, and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
