LINKS for Students with Children is meant to be just that - a link to information, networking opportunities, knowledge, and support for those of us that are continuing our education while raising children. As students who are also parents, we face a unique set of challenges. Whether we have newborns or teenagers, we all have one thing in common- school is not our only priority. As we struggle to provide better lives for our families, we often wonder how we are going to make it and we may at times wonder if we've made the right choice. The goal of LINKS is to be a source of support to all students with children: mothers, fathers, custodial parents, non-custodial parents, expecting parents, and parents with grown children. We strive to assist all students who have children to find and connect with community resources, campus resources, and most importantly to each other.
