The Women's Center Supports Student Parents
At MSU we have a diverse population of students, and one particular group is student parents. Being a parent as well as a student is a challenge. Some of these students are balancing children, household chores, part-time or full-time work, and classes.
MSU does have some services available for student parents to help them manage and relieve some of the stress they are facing. "It's called the Women's Center because we just can't call it the ‘Come on in and Relax and Put Your Feet on the Chair Center.” Everyone is welcome to come hang out and enjoy our relaxing atmosphere.

The Women's Center is a place you can come to find resources for student parents;
- A box full of toys for the kids to play with, as well as some books to read.
- Couches, computers, a microwave, and refrigerator available for use.
- The Lactation Station is located in the women's bathroom across from the Women's Center (CSU 218). This is open to all students on campus! If you need a place to refrigerate your breast milk, you can store it in the refrigerator in the Women's Center during our business hours.
- Campus and community resources for student parents, such as lists of schools, doctors, dentists, LGBT students and parents, housing information, daycares... and MUCH more!
