The Weather Analysis Laboratory for Teaching and Educational Resources (WALTER) is back online after a long absence during a massive upgrade. As one of the premier weather centers in the Northern Plains, students and faculty members are given the opportunity to learn and make use of several professional weather visualization tools and weather depiction utilities. WALTER offers a state of the science training facility that closely resembles that of top weather forecasting centers in the country. Students utilizing the lab gain meteorological training in many different aspects within the board field of weather.
