Minnesota State University, Mankato will close its campus operations beginning at 10 pm Wednesday, Feb. 22 and will remain closed all day Thursday due to hazardous winter weather conditions.
All Thursday classes are cancelled (in person or online) in Mankato, at the University’s Edina location at 7700 France Ave. and at Normandale Community College. All University offices and virtual services will be closed Thursday.
Starting at 10 p.m. tonight (Wednesday), only weather-essential employees should report to work.
The University’s Mankato campus operations will open again Friday, Feb. 24 at 6 a.m., and all Friday classes will be held as scheduled.

Mankato's Bus Service Temporarily Suspended Due to Forecasted Weather
Due to forecasted severe weather conditions and for safety, Mankato's bus service will be temporarily suspended beginning at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 22. Limited routes will be available on Thursday, February 23, beginning at noon. All routes are expected to be back in service on Friday, February 24.

Minnesota State University, Mankato to Shift to Remote Learning for
Wednesday, Feb. 22 Because of Winter Weather Conditions
Due to winter weather conditions, Minnesota State University, Mankato will shift to remote learning for Wednesday, Feb. 22 on campus in Mankato and at its Edina location.
Faculty are encouraged to provide reasonable accommodation for students not able to participate in remote delivery due to the shift to e-learning. Classes that cannot be delivered remotely will be cancelled.
Staff should contact their supervisors for information on remote work assignments, if applicable.
Weather-essential employees should report to the University’s Mankato campus for work as scheduled.
