Broccoli Salad

  • 2 lbs broccoli, chopped
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 to 1 lb bacon, chopped*
  • 1 cup raisins or craisins


  • 2 cups mayo or salad dressing*
  • 1 cup sugar*
  • 1/2 cup vinegar


  1. Mix up dressing and pour over the salad ingredients.

*Use turkey bacon. Instead of frying, microwave or bake turkey. Pat dry with a paper towel. Use a low-fat or fat-free mayo or salad dressing. Try a sugar substitute in place of white sugar.
