Become a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor in 2023
Join Minnesota State University, Mankato faculty as they lead a training on providing clinical supervision. Completion of this two-phase customized training earns you up to 45 CEU's and allows you to provide board approved supervision within your licensure for the boards of Social Work, Behavioral Health and Therapy (LPCC and LADC), Marriage and Family Therapy, and Psychology.
The training will be delivered over two phases. The first phase is a 14-hour live training, and you have the choice to attend online via Zoom or in-person at MSU-Edina. The second phase, for those needing 30 or 45-hours, will be asynchronous and will allow you to complete the remaining hours of your training on your time within 45 days of completing phase one.

PHASE TWO for LSW, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT’s will take place asynchronously online following phase one. Phase two is designed to enhance your understanding of phase one concepts and will consist of reflection papers, textbook review questions, and development of a supervision contract that can be completed at your own pace. More information on phase two will be provided to registered participants as the training approaches.

This training is designed to meet the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services behavioral health licensing board requirements. The state of Iowa does not approve trainings in advance, but the content of this training connects directly to the posted requirements.
