Hello Alan, Some of your paper I already knew through our previous contacts. All of it makes excellent reading. Please keep being an example to us of what we can do. In my own case, I have many reasons to be thankful for my own stammer. My stammer has shaped my life up to 2006. It was a happy life, one I would not wish to change, because to change one part of it would have unknown ramifications. I would not have met Valerie, the lady who became my wife. I would not have had the two children who give me so much to be thankful for. I would not have met my current partner Eryl, after the death of my wife. There is so much history that I have enjoyed which has direct links to how my parents dealt with my stammer as a child which has influenced my direction in life. Since 2006 I began the process of putting my stammer behind me and letting my mind shape my life. Now, that I have found a passion for communication, which I improve day by day, my life is on unchartered paths. I know what I want to do with my life of communication, and the routes I select will contain energetic fun to take me to places I have rarely dreamed of. Without my past stammer, I would not be where I am at this point in time. Naturally, it could be argued that I might have achieved more without a stammer. But that is pure speculation. But the certainty is, is that it would have been an unknown different life. My stammer has made me work very hard in some aspects of my life which all became part and parcel of my standards of life; my beliefs and my current way of looking at life and shaping my future destiny. A very good thoughtful paper, and I it was enjoyable to have learned about you and talked to you in 2006 and various times since. Please pass on my best wishes to your wife. Keith
