Hi Steve, Thank you for your generous comments. Many others have opined that my book is long overdue. I will certainly make every effort to commence work on its preparation during 2009. You question what benefits you may have acquired as a result of your own stutter. May I respectfully offer a few comments. Having first made your acquaintance two years ago, I have been hugely impressed with your knowledge and understanding about the subject. The incredible gains that you have achieved during the past 15/16 months have, I suspect, been due (in no small measure) to your sheer determination that was born out of many years of disappointment and frustration. Having suffered the indignity and isolation of stuttering, I feel that I became a more caring individual. From what I have witnessed, you also possess a similar trait. I submit that you are now utilising that empathy to good effect by supporting numerous other persons who stutter. I hope to chat with you soon. Kindest regards Alan
