Hello, Reduced O/M coordination, ear infections, and language formulation/word finding difficulties are risk factors for the development of stuttering. Diagnosis of stuttering could be reduced because the basis may be word finding and then true stuttering is NOT present. Working on vocabulary building can greatly reduce the presence of perceived stuttering. Thank you. Judith
