Hello, SLPs are very receptive but I always appear as a helping person and very respectful of their skills. SEDOL is a model special education cooperative for the state of IL. They employ approximately 45 SLPs and each one comes with unique skills. There is no uniform approach because the SLPs come from many different training programs. For spontaneous recovery, I would watch carefully for 2- 3 months but probably would be proactive with ideas of fluency enhancement to parents and teachers. Thank you. Judith
