I really enjoyed reading this article. Do you think that if the High School children weren't separated from the "normal developing" students, that maybe they wouldn't have such a great avoidance with their peers? Maybe they would feel more comfortable when they are integrated more in everyday high school activities, and not feel like they are these "special" people. Won't that also in some sense help them with their speaking as well? Maybe they could do their speech learning before or after school, so they feel more comfortable and at ease in the school setting?
