I found your article very interesting and informative. It raised topics that I had never thought about before. In reading your therapy suggestions for children with Down Syndrome I was curious as to how you go about working on a goal such as answering questions in class? This was a goal suggestion set for older Children with Down Syndrome who stutter. At an older age avoidance, shame, and fear have already developed and a goal like this seems it would be difficult to work towards. What kind of technique do would you suggest using? I thought a hierarchy would be best to start with small successes and work up to answering in public. What are your thoughts?
