I'm an old stutterer, and I used to be an arch-concealer. When I read your clever and insightful article, I thought that given my degree of stressful effort to conceal my stuttering, I should have tried carrying around a watermelon. By analogy, of course, a person who doesn't try to conceal his stuttering very much could use a lemon, and someone who had benefited greatly from therapy would need only a grape. But I'm beginning to belabor the point, so I'll shut up. Your grapefruit is the ideal instrument, and the article is top-notch in every respect.
