Alyssa, My research on identifying stuttering behaviors in English and Spanish did not require my subjects to identify types of dysfluency. Previous studies have suggested that agreeing on whether someone is stuttering is easier than agreeing on whether someone is exhibiting a block or a prolongation or a repetition. BH
