I am an undergraduate student who is just beginning to delve into world of stuttering and I decided to read this piece on choral reading as a therapeutic technique. I find it to be a very good idea and very interesting at the same time. It really makes sense when I begin to think about it more. Most people practice speeches in front of mirrors or tape themselves so they can hear how they sound before they present their speech, so it really makes sense and seems like a good way for a person who stutters to practice speaking fluently.
