Very interesting information. As a graduate student, this is one of those techniques I assumed was a myth, like some of the techniques form "The King's Speech." Is there a stuttering theory or model that may provide an explanation as to how choral reading facilitates fluency in some? Do you have any reading suggestions for outcome studies of choral reading in people who stutter? My final thought is could this be part of a heirarchally sequenced cueing systems for people who stutter? For example, starting with choral reading and slowing diminishing the amount of choral production that occurs until a person achieves fluency without choral production?
