Indeed, we need to measure in order to properly diagnose, but, as suggested here, there is no good definition or criteria. Most definitely, we need to develop this but, in the interim, while we may be able to at least 'suggest' that a young child presents as a clutterer, it is frustrating for parents re insurance and the clinician for billing and for the amount of time truly due the child to treat the whole child (the ramifications of the disorder). Otherwise, we risk having more children slip through the cracks to become extremely frustrated and anxious people who cannot achieve to potential. Parents: speak out!
