Hi Patricia, Thanks for your perspective. From the LCD definition point of view that I outlined, these cluttering clients of yours would very likely fit the definition. I would be more specific, however. I would add that the rapid rate is central and the problem (collapsing?) of multisyllabic words would be a necessary result for the person to be considered a clutterer. I don't include the rambling speech (more a language issue) unless it contains an excessive number of "normal" disfluencies or unnatural pauses and/or prosody. I'm curious though. Since you have worked with these clients for 30 years, how do you determine that they "clutter?" Ken
