Due to my lack of knowledge on cluttering, this article provided information that helped me better understand its nature. Although it included facts that assist in interpretation of the definition of cluttering, I am interested in a further explanation on the difference between stuttering and cluttering. The article describes cluttering to have “disfluencies that are typically not observed in people who stutter but in normal speakers, but more frequently.” I would like to better understand this statement and what disfluencies of a normal speaker means. I would like to know what excessive normal disfluencies consist of and how fast is too fast or what irregular would be defined as.
