That is the topic of my M.A thesis in Tel Aviv University. The study has two main aims. The first is to find whether people with Cluttering have reduced capacities of language in general. The second aim is to characterize syntax and word retrieval capacities in people with Cluttering. My subjects are adults with Cluttered speech and a control group of people with fluent speech, matched by age, gender and education. I collected demographic information and the diagnosis was based on St. Louis et al, 2007- narrow definition. My PWC group is very diverse in terms of co-existing disorders, personal characteristics, pragmatic behavior and in almost every parameter I checked. I believe that there is more then single etiology or form of Cluttering, and probably that is why it is very hard to find a strong evidence of language deficits, even if such deficits exist in PWC.
