Hi, Sarah - I think the mirror would have been helpful for the "beaver talk," as a short-term visual feedback tool. However, it would not have been so helpful for identifying the fast rate of speech and resulting unintelligibility. A mirror could have been used initially to work on labial contact. Learning to use other forms of proprioception is important since it would be awkward to have to rely on a mirror for feedback. These are my thoughts.
