Hi Dr. Bennett Lanouette! These strategies are great! As reading each one, I came across #2. You mentioned that it is important for the client to realize that his or her speech is difficult for others to understand. One method would be to perhaps audio/video tape them; or even have them speak in front of a mirror. Many would usually become self-conscious after watching or hearing themselves for the "first" time in therapy. How can we minimize such feeling?
