Yes, especially for the clients who clutter. Chunking or phrasing (whatever you want to call it) is a strategy which addresses rate control. Since this is a key factor in the diagnosis of cluttering, teaching the client to pause is critical to slowing down. You just don't tell them to slow down, you have to give them strategies which result in slower speech production.
