Thank you Ken. I totally agree that working on multiple aspects at the same time can overwhelm the customer. What do you think of teaching the PWC to delegate some of the self-monitoring controls to the listeners when needed? During my cluttering moments, my streaming speach, on top of mazing, tends to maintain much higher pitch with narrower range vowel formation. As a result, it's difficult for the audience to follow up. Through my teaching experiences, I found out that if I ask my students and presentation attendees to be my time/rate/pitch controllers (my students quite often use the phrase "Hit a space bar, Mrs. Exum", I can concentrate on the thought formulation.
