You are so right about the naturalness of speech! Once upon a time, I had an argument with one of my customers, who had a lot more practical experfience in international contracts than I did at that moment, about the documents he presented. The more heated his responces were to my suggestions, the slower and lower I was speaking, trying to be very precise and clear. My radical change of the rate and tone(vs what everyone used to hear from me) upset my client to such an extent that my boss requested me to never slow down like this again :-)
