Thank you for writing this informative and useful article. I wanted to know what kind of structured activities would you recommend using to address rate of speech in a younger client who cannot read fluently yet? In addition, you mentioned in one of your previous responses that regulating articulation rate can help with reduced intelligibility due to weak syllable deletion. Do you think it's helpful to use pacing techniques, such as finger tapping or pointing to a different block for each syllable in a word, in order to address weak syllable deletion?
