Hi Mrs. Melissa Montiel Potemra, I think this concept of “speech pacing” is great because it’s simple and yet includes pausing and planning every word. I can also see how it would benefit the client because it would improve the fine motor movements. The child would articulate each word at a slower pace. As a student, in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, I love therapy ideas that I could use on future clients. During “dot talking,” do you ever have the client over-emphasize articulation? Any insight on this is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
