Dear Ms. Reardon-Reeves, I thought your article was great and very helpful! Mary, Thank you for your feedback. In answer to your question about "awareness," I have found that with most cluttering clients, they have already have become aware or been "made aware" from other in their environment, as I seldom have experienced a self-referred clutterer. :) Of course, your instinct is correct; we must move through the "identification" stage with thoughtful consideration of the cognitive and affective issues that may be a part of our therapy process. In answer to your second question, the activities I chose depend upon the individual. For the most part, we begin with reading (so much more concrete) and then move along a hierarchy of difficulty as we would in stuttering therapy. Have a great day!
