Thanks for writing in! Once a child and I have agreed upon the objectives we will work on first, the activities can be quite varied. I like to give a choice of two activities. This allows the client some power, while allowing me to move therapy forward with goal-drien activites. As far as "rewards," this always depends on the chld and the AGE of the child. Mostly, my 'rewards' are either inherent in the activity (taking your turn in a game,filling a bucket of tokens, etc), or mostly...the reward of enhanced communication. :)
