Thank you so very much for this article and your own personal experiences with children who clutter! Beginning to close the book on my undergraduate studies in Communication Disorders, I found this article very helpful in looking at how to treat a child with cluttering issues, and even how easy it is as an SLP to "alter" therapy as a child progresses or regresses or as time passes. Hoping to emphasize in pediatrics, I especially appreciated the detail you put into the different therapy techniques such as "clear speech", natural signals, and saying function words "out loud", and how you related it to a child, making therapy fun and understandable. All were very helpful in my studies and will become a very useful tool for me as I begin having clients of my own, possibly with cluttering issues. Thanks again!
