First of all, let me say that this was a very interesting and helpful article. I am currently seeing an 11 year old child in therapy that has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Like Claudia, he also has difficulty establishing and maintaining eye contact with others. Most of the time, it's hard to understand what he's saying. Even though he does repeat his word or sentence when asked, it's still unintelligible to the listener. Do you think it would be beneficial to implement the techniques your clinician implemented with Claudia? I personally think it's worth a try.
