Renita, It might be quite helpful to implement some form of treatment that focuses on this child's self-regulation to help him increase his speech intelligibility. We found it quite helpful to change the focus of therapy in this way for Claudia, since traditional phonological therapy was not having an impact on her ability to communicate.
