Erin, I probably should have specified in the article--Claudia is currently enrolled in a parochial school (church-based) and the school has a resource teacher but not an SLP. That is the reason she is not currently having speech/language therapy at school. If she returns to the public schools in the future, she will likely begin therapy for speech and language again.
