Janet, I appreciate your comments. I am finding, as I get older (and hopefully wiser) that being very clear and straightforward about what we want a client to try is very helpful to the client, and giving very clear and specific feedback lets the client know what they did that helped them be successful. Meaningful feedback is so much more motivating and helpful for any of us, I find. Don't ask me why it took me so long to get there--I'm sure I spent way too many years just modeling behaviors rather than explaining them, and telling them 'good', 'great', 'super' and so forth, rather than letting them know--'that was really clear speech'. At least I know that I haven't gotten too old to learn, and Claudia certainly has been a great teacher. Regards, Lynne
