This article is very informative about children struggling with a cluttering problem. It’s great to see the progress she has been making in all three therapy goals within such a short amount of time. I am impressed with the technique you used to find an effective cue for your client to use “clear speech” instead of trying to push the “turtle talk” label on her. I am curious to see what you think of the mild autism identification; do you think it was an accurate diagnosis? Because cluttering was clearly a problem for her throughout the entirety of her social skills development thus far, could her social behaviors have caused a misdiagnosis?
