Aliza, Sorry for the error on the previous post! We addressed Claudia's lack of intelligibility by getting her to reduce her rate and enunciate more clearly, simply by asking her to use "clear speech" and modeling a somewhat slower rate of speaking and using slightly exaggerated articulation. So, we wanted to slow her rate, but asking her to "use turtle talk", a somewhat direct request for slow rate, had not been effective previously. Hope this answers your question. Regards, Lynne
