Hi Caroline and Lynne, I wanted to tell you that I thought this article was wonderful!! I am a student clinician at West Virginia University and am currently working with a seven year old boy who is a moderate stutterer. One of my goals this semester is trying to get him to open up and express his thoughts and feelings on his "bumpy speech." I have not had much success in doing this. I loved your suggestion of going to the webpage "Just for Kids." If you don't mind, I would love to share this story with my client. I think it might be the thing I need for him to realize that there are other kids going through the exact same thing. I commend you Caroline, I think you are very brave and am proud of you for being able to stick up to your peers. Again, wonderful story!! :)
