In another article titled "Tough Love and Other Shady Stuttering Practices, Then and Now", Judith Duchan talks about "tough love" in speech-language therapy with PWS. Do you feel that the therapy you described using with Caroline to help her deal with teasing is a form of tough love? How do you know when a child who stutters is ready for this type of approach?
