I think that this is a great article and resource for parents and SLPs that may have young children that are struggling with peer pressure and feelings that they are having related to their stuttering. It is great for children to put other children in their situation to see how they would feel if it were them that was being made fun of when they stuttered. I think it is extremely important that other children realize that it isn't something that the child who stutters is doing on purpose.
I do have one question. What about children who already have an extremely shy personality? What if they are scared to try and talk to the other children that are making fun of them?
